From the Studio

Summer is over too soon once again.  I have been painting a new subject; my new Itoh Peony. It is a cross between traditional peonies and tree peonies and the flowers are large and wonderful!.

These are all half sheet paintings on cold pressed watercolor paper.

Here’s a landscape I’m still working on. No title yet. This is on Plate Strathmore Illustration board. It has a warm palette for fall.

NEWS

I presently have no workshops scheduled. Any future ones will probably be local. I do have 4 digital books, a hard cover book and 2 videos on this site for those who want to see information about how I paint, my materials and more. There is also painting information in the archived issues of the Seasonal Notes from other seasons.

You can view a variety of my paintings on the gallery pages. Many of these are still available for sale. Contact me if you are interested in information about a particular painting. You will also find me and my work on Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/annpemberaws/

Three paintings; Joyful, Contemplation and Homeless, were voted among the top 100 paintings in The Art of Watercolor Magazine’s Fall Issue 47, Readers’ Competition. They received 112, 94 and 39 of the top 100 votes respectively, of 8,024 votes cast.
