Lake Champlain & Adirondacks from Essex Ferry (photo)
Another Summer has flown by too fast. I have been painting quite a lot and below are some of the new results.
These are all half sheet paintings. I hope you are all well and finding time to paint.
This painting of my cat, Dusty, is on Strathmore Plate heavyweight illustration board. This surface is great for painting fur and whiskers, since lifting and smoothing is so easy.

Rapture is also on a half sheet of the Strathmore plate illustration board. Here are some of the steps.
Radiance, on the right, is a second painting of this flower, also on board, but I used a palette of M. Graham colors instead of my usual Winsor Newton and Daniel Smith. They are very brilliant!
NEWS
I presently have no workshops scheduled. Any future ones will probably be local. I do have 4 digital books, a hard cover book and 2 videos on this site for those who want to see information about how I paint, my materials and more. There is also painting information in the archived issues of the Seasonal Notes from other seasons.
You can view a variety of my paintings on the gallery pages. Many of these are still available for sale. Contact me if you are interested in information about a particular painting.
